🪵 Abura Wood Exporter in Cameroon – FOB Douala

Abura wood exporter in Cameroon supplying light African hardwood for plywood, interior joinery, furniture components, and general carpentry. Abura timber is supplied in Air-Dried (AD) or Kiln-Dried (KD) condition and shipped under FOB Douala terms with verified export documentation.

Because Abura is often selected for its uniform color and easy workability, orders follow controlled sawing, drying, and packing procedures. As a result, buyers receive consistent material suitable for industrial and commercial use.

About Abura Wood

Abura is a light-to-medium density tropical African hardwood sourced mainly from Central and West Africa. It is valued for its smooth texture, straight grain, and excellent machining properties.

In addition, Abura glues, nails, and finishes well. Therefore, manufacturers commonly use it where appearance, ease of processing, and cost efficiency matter more than heavy structural strength.

As a result, Abura wood is widely used for:

  • Plywood and veneer cores

  • Furniture components

  • Interior joinery

  • Paneling and ceiling boards

  • General interior carpentry

Straightforward Wood That Does the Job

December 25, 2025

I sourced Abura wood for a small commercial fit-out where weight, workability, and consistency were more important than appearance. The boards were easy to handle, machined cleanly, and stayed true during installation.

We used it mainly for internal framing and concealed components, and it performed exactly as expected. No surprises, no excessive waste, and no issues during assembly. Shipping from Cameroon went smoothly and the material arrived properly bundled and protected.

If you’re looking for a practical hardwood that’s reliable and cost-effective, Abura is a solid choice.

Bois Abura fiable pour usage technique

August 9, 2025

Good Abura Wood for Outdoor and Utility Work

May 15, 2024

We purchased Abura wood for general construction and outdoor use, mainly for framing and support structures. The wood was light, easy to handle, and worked well with basic tools. It cut cleanly and was straightforward to assemble on site.

The shipment from Cameroon arrived in good condition, and the wood quality was consistent across the load. While Abura is not meant for luxury finishing, it performs very well for practical applications where durability and ease of use matter.

Overall, it served its purpose well, and I would consider using Abura again for similar projects.
